Fashion Plate Wallpapers: 18th Century, Regency & Romantic eras

Three different wallpapers, with the first being a Watteau painting, the second a Regency fashion plate, and the third also having a fashion plate, this time from the 1830s. Please comment if taking, and enjoy!

Of course! It's Too Early, by Tissot. It's one of my favourite paintings (I have many...) and he's a brilliant artist.

I REALLY love these! The first is my favorite I think...I'm going to ask a stupid question....can I use these (first one) for my journal??? And if so...how do I do that???

There is no such thing as a stupid question! Of course you may use any of my graphics for whatever you like, and I'd be happy to help you figure out how to get it on your journal layout. :-) *tries to think of a way for it to work* (I'm not very good at this) Hmm...what about this. I could re-crop it into a square, and then you could set it as your wallpaper, but fix it so that it doesn't scroll down, but stays in place. You'd probably have to make your journal width narrower, though. Or do you have something else in mind?

I saved the first and third wallpapers. (: My resolution is actually 1280x800, but the first one doesn't look too bad when I stretch it to fit the screen. The grunge-like/collage-like look makes it find even if it's stretched out a bit. (: And it was really pretty, so I couldn't pass it up.

Thanks for stopping by! I'm glad you like them, and that the one doesn't look too bad on stretch. Sometimes I'll use one that's too small, set on center with a complimenting color as the border/background.

I really should do that! My boyfriend always does that with images that are too small, but if they're just a little bit too small and are alright when stretched out, I go ahead and let them cover the whole screen. I've never been able to settle for an image that doesn't cover the whole screen, heh. But it would probably be better than simply passing on the wallpapers I really like but find are not big enough. (:

Thank you so much for these. I've been hooked on the Tudor, Victorian, Elizabethan type of graphics and looks and looked just about everywhere for these wallpapers.
