One of the very first of the many that can be credited with helping to infect me with the disease joy of costume dramas, Daniel Deronda remains one of the best, most well-acted, and definitely one of the prettiest, at least as costuming goes.

I agree that Romola is very pretty! She did a great job in DD, but not as much in a couple other things I've seen her in. I wonder if that's more my enjoyment of them, or something else? *shrug*

ooooh beautiful! I really like your black and white icons overall-there is just something about them that sets them apart from what you normally see. I love 25 and 23 (23 is just so gorgeous that I think it speaks for itself). Overall as always great cropping and use of color. :)

They're gorgeous! I saved 17-20 and 25-30. i wish I had seem them sooner I just had surgery on Thursday on my right shoulder so typing is a pain... Plus I'm wearing a sling which I hate....

Very pretty! Just recently watched this series for the first time. it is not a happy movie... Gorgeous costumes, but not a movie to watch when you are depressed.

9 and 23 are my favs!

It's definitely not a happy movie, but it has a good strong story, and a conscientious hero--always important. ;)

If you're depressed, I wouldn't suggest this to you at all--try something more along the lines of the 1995 Pride & Prejudice, or the newer productions of Cranford!
