One of the very first of the many that can be credited with helping to infect me with the disease joy of costume dramas, Daniel Deronda remains one of the best, most well-acted, and definitely one of the prettiest, at least as costuming goes.

Oh I KNOW I still get very sad, but it's not as horrible now that I know it's coming (I was in denial watching it the first time on tv. "HE'S NOT DEAD, IS HE? HE'S GOING TO LIVE, RIGHT? RIGHT????")

I still like him and Miss Galindo together.

Liesel Matthews is quite an heiress in her own right, if I remember correctly. I enjoyed her in ALP and it's too bad she's given up acting!

Yeah they kind of botched that, also the part where the inheritance goes to Amy's Uncle's younger daughter or the youngest daughter of his brother....???
