olde_fashioned: (Scotland -- take me home)
I've rounded up a few icons that I've been making on and off for a while now, all with the theme of Scotland. ;-) Scottish castles, scenery, thistles, and a few Scottish paintings, including the very famous Scotland Forever! by Elizabeth Thompson. I've also included love banners and a wallpaper for those of you who love Scotland as much as I do. :-) I've been really in a Scottish mood due to reading and watching Kidnapped, lol.

As ever, my icons are not bases, please credit/comment if taking, and enjoy!

Scotland the Brave )
olde_fashioned: (Medieval -- Stitching the Standard)
A bunch of icontest entries this time, mostly of various eras in art (Medieval, Regency, and Victorian) but also of flower stock as well as some of Millais, EB Leighton, Dicksee, Alma-Tadema, and Mucha. I've also included a pair of love banners; one of Medieval art and the other of Mucha. ;-)

As always, never alter my graphics, comment, credit, and enjoy!

who will go down to the shady groves and summon the shadows there? )
olde_fashioned: (Regency -- a lady of fashion)
A batch of Regency fashion plate icons and three different love banners. The icons I made for icontests over at [livejournal.com profile] regency_stills, and these themes are always such fun for me to make. :-)

As ever, my icons are not bases, please credit/comment if taking, and enjoy!

And when you get the choice, to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance... )
olde_fashioned: (green -- Irish Brigade flag)
In honour of Saint Patrick's Day, a dozen stock icons of the Irish cliffs, castles, and countryside. I love the color green and all things Irish, so naturally I enjoy March 17th very much! ;-D I've also included a love banner for those of you who love Ireland as much as I do. :-)

As ever, my icons are not bases, please credit/comment if taking, and enjoy!

I will dye my petticoats, I'll dye them red... )
olde_fashioned: (S&S2 -- Marianne)
A batch of icons from the 1995 adaptation of Sense & Sensibility, with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet, which is another one of my favourite movies. :-) These are mostly of Elinor and Marianne, with a wallpaper, and a love banner with two variations.

As always, my icons are not bases, please credit/comment if taking, and enjoy!

''Good morning, Fanny. How did you find the silver? Was it all genuine?'' )
olde_fashioned: (N&S -- hands)
I've just given my profile a bit of a make-over! ;-) Not so much the text as the graphics and color scheme...feedback and opinions are welcome! I think it might still need some finishing touches, but I'm really pleased with the graphic I made. I was making it for a new layout but I decided to keep Marie-anne Lavoisier for now. ;-P

Speaking of graphics, I also had to make myself a North & South love banner, which I'm posting here to share with my fellow Margaret and Thornton fans! (comment and credit as usual, please)

cut! )
olde_fashioned: (Charlotte Bronte)
More icons that have accumulated over the past couple of weeks, including some icontest entries as well as some that aren't. As usual, comment to let me know which one(s) you're taking, credit me, no stealing, and please upload the banners to your own accounts. ;-) Thanks!

Is there any felicity in the world superior to this? )
olde_fashioned: (NA2 -- Henry & Catherine)
How many of you would be interested in color bars (or love bars, or whatever the heck they're called!) if I made them for various subjects? I've seen so many people using them, and I'd like to know if they'd be worth my time.

Here are two samples:

ITV Northanger Abbey - NA2

1986 Northanger Abbey - NA1

These are my first, but feel free to use them if you'd like. Just comment and credit as you would an icon, please! :-)
