Icons: Ireland
Mar. 10th, 2008 11:05 amIn honour of Saint Patrick's Day, a dozen stock icons of the Irish cliffs, castles, and countryside. I love the color green and all things Irish, so naturally I enjoy March 17th very much! ;-D I've also included a love banner for those of you who love Ireland as much as I do. :-)
As ever, my icons are not bases, please credit/comment if taking, and enjoy!
Teasers:
Please, if you take anything, be so kind as to take note of the numbers above the icon(s) you're saving, since I am always experimenting with my styles and I would like to know what people like best. (This helps me so I can make more!) The numbers are above the icons. ;-)

Date: 2008-03-11 05:24 am (UTC)I looked up the meaning for you:
"The verses of this song refer to a lover's enlistment in the Irish Brigade who left
Ireland after the Williamite War (1691) to serve in the French Army. In Ireland these gallant soldiers were referred to as 'Wild Geese.' "

Okay. Wow. I love these. ^-^ 2 - texture and the red thingie (I noticed you used that a lot in this batch and I think it's lovely!), 3, 4, - CASTLES! MINE! (*whimper* we used to have one but they sold it!), 5, 8 - Cliffs! Dramatic! I also like your coloring, 11, 12 - colors!
*goes and books a ticket to Ireland*

You used to HAVE a CASTLE?!!??! Okay, spill it!!
*elbows you out of line and buys tickets first*
