Twenty-six Frank Weston Benson icons, featuring turn-of-the-century beauties in romantic outdoor settings that have a very "summer-y" feel to them. I have a notecard of his Eleanor (my userpic and #1 in this batch) sitting on the dresser in my room, and I decided to look him up online. They're quite a feast for the eyes, methinks, so how could I possibly resist the temptation to icon them? ;-D

As always, never alter or steal my graphics, comment, credit, and enjoy!

Please, if you take anything, be so kind as to take note of the numbers of the icon(s) you're saving, since I am always experimenting with my styles and I would like to know what people like best. (This helps me so I can make more!) The numbers are above the icons.

Is that the Louise Lombard series about the sisters who become seamstresses in the '20s? I haven't seen it, but I've been thinking about Netflixing it. I'll go Google it to see if I can find any screencaps for you. :-)

Yes, it is. It's an absolutely fabulous series & totally fabulous costumes. I bought the three seasons they had out. I kept hoping for a 4th.

I've been searching for images since you commented, and so far this is all I've found: http://www.jewelboxdreams.com/2007/11/house-of-elliot-1991-93.html

I read that they planned on a fourth, but the sets burned down and it was too expensive to replace them. :-(

YOu had better luck than I did finding anything. Too bad the sets burned down. I wished someone had photographed all the costumes. I would have bought a book of them.
Good night!
