Another perennial favourite of mine is Wives & Daughters. I guess I've been in the mood for Gaskell lately, and it's easy to forget how good Molly and Roger go together this series is. ;-D

Twenty-two icons this time, mostly of Molly, a couple of Cynthia, Lady Harriet (who totally rocks, in my very humble opinion) and a few of Roger Hamley. I also made a wallpaper and matching friends only banner, with complimentary icons.

As always, my icons are not bases, please credit/comment if taking, and enjoy!

Do you mean where do I get the images?

Thank you, and it's one of mine, too. :-)

Yes, where do you find the images? There's a couple dresses in it that I'd like to get a good view of.

I downloaded caps of it from desert-sky.net, but anyone who owns the DVDs can screencap the movie. I'd be happy to upload a few screencaps that I have for you, if you like, or I could tell you how to take caps on your own. :-)

I just tried that link and all it says it Be back in December. :(
Could you tell me how to screencap? Is it done on the TV or computer?

That's nonsense because I just downloaded them. Here, try this: http://caps.desert-sky.net/w&d.htm

But I would be happy to tell you how to screencap. It's really easy, and it's done on the computer. It's exactly what it sounds like -- capturing what's on your monitor. Holding CTRL and then pressing PRINT SCR (or PRINT SCREEN, depending on which you have) will "capture" the screen, and then you can paste it into some sort of photo editing software (or even Microsoft Paint) and save it as a JPG.

That link worked. Wow, that's a lot of pics. It will take some time to go thru them all. Thanks!

Yes, it's an awful lot of pics!! And very few of them (or at least the 3 zips I've downloaded so far) are good for costume studies. I'm still willing to help you, if you would like me to. :-)

I know how to save photos so that's no problem. But w/o watching the movie, I couldn't tell you which costumes I wanted a closer look at. I just remembered some of them were gorgeous.

Okay! I understand that, but you're right, some of them are positively drool worthy. I especially remember liking Cynthia's dress with the sleeves that look like they have Vintage hankies on them, and Molly's white dress in my icon.
