More Northanger Abbey icons...
Mar. 11th, 2007 04:21 pmI've got so many of these, that I thought it would be easier to just do them in installments. Here is Batch 2 -- this time with Henry, as requested. ;-) I have been experimenting with my style, so comments are very welcome!
As usual, do not steal, these are not bases, credit and comment if taking, and enjoy. :-)

Date: 2007-03-12 06:53 am (UTC)I didn't know it either, until a copy turned up at our local library. I for one think it's great, but keep in mind that this particular movie seems to be somewhat polarizing amongst JA fans. It *is* different from the novel, and it stars Peter Firth as the hero, and IMHO he's completely wrong, and some find him kind of creepy. Don't let me scare you away!
OTO, the Gothic-ness of it is rather amusing, despite the really awful '80s music. ;-) The costumes are lovely, and the casting minus PF is very good, especially Catherine and General Tilney (Sir John Middleton from S&S). I love it however, so I guess I am biased!
Have you read any Gaskell?
