I *will* keep my promise and make you one, so thank you for being patient!

Yes I do!! I love Phillips and Pella's The Russian series, Stonewycke, their Corrie Bell Hollister books, and I think most of Janette Oke's are pretty good, especially Love Comes Softly. I've read a couple Lauraine Snelling, too. What about you?

I love Lori Wick and Linda Chaikin! Linda writes books based in different places like India, Africa, and the Caribbean! I love her books about Pirates! I also love Gilbert Morris' Cheney Duvall M.D. series- it's about a woman doctor and her male nurse right after the Civil War! I think I own the last book in The Russians series! :D ♥ Tiffany

I've never read either of those. I have read some of Gilbert Morris's childrens series, though. The Seven Sleepers and the Daystar ones. The Mars Expeditions (or something like that) are another good YA series.

I also like Christy, by Catherine Marshall. Have you ever read that?

I have but it's been awhile! I just ordered one of Linda's books called Captive Heart, another of her pitate series! I've also ordered a book by J.M. Hochstetler it's the second in a series set during the American Revolution about a young woman who's parents are Loyalists and she's a spy for the Patriots and she falls in love with a British officer! :D ♥ Tiffany

Oh, I'm sure there is an abundance of pirate books out nowadays. Personally I prefer background settings in wars. ;-)

That Hochsetler book you mentioned sounds fascinating!!! That is probably my favourite war, and I'm very intrigued. How did you enjoy the first book?

8-) Oooooooo!!! Thank you Tiffany! It looks great! I'll have to add that to my "to read" list. ;-) I've also heard of a similar series by Janette Oke -- except it's two women on opposite sides that become friends, rather like the AG Felicity books.
