This is designed to be a list of costume dramas that I like, as well as ones I would recommend to those looking for something to watch. This is by no means extensive, and certain movies have been omitted intentionally due to objectionable content. (what, I ask, is the point of a costume drama when the characters spend more time out of the costumes than in them?) I've seen a great many movies, and a lot of costume dramas, and very few of them I would consider good enough to buy, or recommend.

Heheh!! I've seen that one. ;-) Actually I've seen the first three, or first four? I liked the second one best. (they quote P&P!!) I have no interest in the new one.

I liked the second one the very best, but after that they started deviating from the books too much so I didn't care for them. Have you read the series by Janette Oke?

It's not a bad series. :-) She has many that my mom and I have both enjoyed.

Heheh, I LOVE Anne!! I like both the first movies, as well. ;-D
