icons: The Phantom of the Opera

A batch of The Phantom of the Opera icontest entries for poto_stillness. The vast majority are from the movie with Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler, but there are a couple stage icons as well. There is a significant number of Raoul/Christine this time, due to a couple of Raoul-centered challenges. So all you Raoul fans lucked out! ;-)

Yes, I believe its a painting or fan art someone did. I was sent the picture probably two or three years ago, so I have no clue now who did it. But I love it! The pic i used for it is just slightly larger but poor quality, so no doubt it was pinched off the artist's website or something.

I agree, I adore it. She actually looks like she's WANTING to kiss him, that's what I love. Of course in my world, he rejects her, pushes her to the ground and wipes her taste from his lips, but that's the writer in me. ;)

Well I thought she looked pretty keen on kissing him in the movie, but maybe that's just me. ;-P lol.

I think a lot of people would agree with you, but to me, she's just doing it to save Raoul. But again, in my universe all is well and happy and she's doing it because she wants to.

Yeah, that was her excuse! ;-P IMO (and maybe it's just my imagination) she looked like she was enjoying it. I don't know about you, but if I was being forced to kiss some creepy guy, I sure wouldn't be doing it like that...

You definitely have a point there. But of course we all know that Erik is far from creepy. So, forced or not, she might have really liked it. ;)
