Icons: Medieval, Regency, Victorian Art and Flower icontest entries

A bunch of icontest entries this time, mostly of various eras in art (Medieval, Regency, and Victorian) but also of flower stock as well as some of Millais, EB Leighton, Dicksee, Alma-Tadema, and Mucha. I've also included a pair of love banners; one of Medieval art and the other of Mucha. ;-)

Hooray! Someone else who hates French! No one hates French. They're all, "It's the language of romance!" Argh! Italian is so much better. (But apparently really, really hard.)

Ditto! I hate the language, and have no fondness for their culture whatsoever. I am utterly baffled as to what the appeal is! I'm an anglophile all the way. *gaspshock*

I'd like to go to Paris for one thing, and that is the Opera House. *is a dorky, dorky phan* I mean, if there, I'd see other things, but that's the only thing that calls to me! (Okay, I wouldn't pass up Versailles, either.)

See, everyone says German is a hacking and spitting while French is flowing and glorious, but I'm the other way. I think German is so beautiful! (And fairly easy when it comes to learning...) I don't really know anything of French culture, though, so... Germans I think I could take. Italians have lots of skeevy old men...

Maybe we should just stay in the UK.... :)

Heheheh!!! Have you seen the extras on the PotO DVD? (I'm sure you probably have) They visit a Paris Opera House in that. ;-D

I (humbly) agree that German is "hacking and spitting" but I think French is what I think Noah Webster called it -- the "baby talk of the nursery". ;-P lol.
