Here are some icons I've made using the lovely rural countryside of America, made for [livejournal.com profile] skye_lark, and some paintings of redheaded women which were so beautiful I just had to make a few! They are mostly textless this time, as I didn't think they needed any "help" to make them beautiful. ;-) As always, for the most part the title of the painting of all the art icons has been preserved in the URL, for the curious. ;-)

Comment, credit, and enjoy!

I really like ten. With the layout and the red heads, I'm guessing you are Irish, or just really love St. Patrick's Day.

LOL!! Thank you. You are partially correct on your first guess, and you've hit the nail on the head about St. Patty's day. I love it!!

As for being Irish, I am more Welsh and Scottish than anything else, but there is some Irish blood in me too, so perhaps it's dominate? (haha) I also happen to like red hair and the color green, so why not? ;-)

You commented quickly!

I love them all! Specially number 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Will credit for sure.
You seem very good at making icons. I make lots of nature and vintage/retro icons too; but I don't think they're any special.

By the way, I love it when people say things about redheads beating blonds. ;-)

Thank you very much!! I am sincerely flattered! And for the record, I like your icons, and I would be nothing without my Paint.net software!!

Do you? I like it, too. ;-) Redheads and brunettes beat blondes, any day! (I take it you're a redhead, then?)

Oh, thank you! I'm planning to post more when I get a paid account.

Well, I was born a brunette, and I'm recently dying my hair red regularly because of my obsession with red hair :-)

Icon making is fun, isn't it? :-)

I don't dye mine, but if I did, I'd probably go either red or dark dark brown. ;-)

The cropping on Isabella is beautiful :)

Thank you! ;-) That painting kind of "sticks out" among his work, IMHO, since it's so different. Plus I love that hair-taping.

Do you know, that I have seen the painting in your icon around, and have been trying to find out what it was called for EVER???? ;-) It was mostly on blank journals and other such things, but for some reason they never credit the artist!! *gasp* I don't suppose you happen to know? I'd be eternally grateful!! ;-)

:( I'm afraid I've not the faintest as to who did it, nor can I find it on Google. [livejournal.com profile] rougir will know though... it was she who made it (http://rougir.livejournal.com/2363.html#cutid1).

Ooh, yays for the country. Lots of room to ride!

Snagging 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (gorgeous), 6, 7 (preeeetty), 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 (looks like Kate Winslet to me :]), 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21. So, everything but the cow close-up? Not surprising.

Redheads do get remembered.

Yay! *lol*

Kate Winslet, do you think? She (the icon) reminds me more of Anne Marie-Duff, I think.

Red hair is beautiful. :-)

Hm, I could see that. However, I've not heard of her before, so I'm still going to see Kate first. (Doesn't hurt that I adore her either.)

I have two friends who both have absolutely gorgeous red hair, plus both sing like angels. I am jealous. T_T But my hair is growing out!

Have you heard of her now, then? lol. Kate Winslet usually always looks beautiful, IMO. Have you seen Finding Neverland?

I always have loved red hair!! I'd get a big kick out of ending up with a redheaded husband and redheaded kids. ;-D

Such a good movie! Makes me cry. But still good. I love Kate and Johnny and Freddie and dangitdangitdangit whatshisface the guy who owned the theater.

Good luck with your red-headed wishes!

Dustin Hoffman? I think it's a joke that he was in that -- because he played Capt. Hook.

LOL! Thanks. ;-P

LOL. Not sure if that's an inside joke or not...I haven't seen that movie. ;-P

Oh, well, not really inside, but if you've not seen the movie it wouldn't make so much sense. XD

I've seen the Disney version! *hopeful smile*

It was Hook, but I'm not sure if that was Disney. People would randomly walk around chanting "Hook, Hook, Hook," low and quiet. It added atmosphere. And of course, one must have atmosphere.
