Hooray for my brother!

olde_fashionedY'all are just going to have to indulge me in a little sisterly brag. My brother, Spencer, won a CollegePlus! scholarship by writing an essay for their contest! I am so incredibly thrilled for him, and sooo proud. 8-D
CONGRATULATIONS, SPENCER!!!
Here is a snippet of the email they sent him:
Dear Scholarship Contestant,
We would like to extend our grateful thanks to all of the participants for their hard work and diligent efforts in excellently researching and writing about the exciting topic of Accelerated Distance Learning.
All of the essays were carefully reviewed and compared to the criteria listed in the essay guidelines. Those that met these initial qualifications were then subjected to a more in-depth scrutiny, where content, format and style were considered. Through this process, four finalists were selected as most accurately compared the traditional route with distance learning, winsomely exposited the advantages of distance learning and convincingly utilized the research materials they cited throughout their essays.
