Icons: Christy

olde_fashionedWe've been Netflixing the new DVDs of the Christy mini-series that aired back in 1994 on CBS, and while I can remember watching it when I was little, I'm really enjoying seeing them all over again. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Christy, it is based on the novel by Catherine Marshall, and it's one of my favourites. Kellie Martin (who plays Christy) is absolutely perfect, and you couldn't have special-ordered a better person to play her.
This batch is principally from the "title credit" sequence where Christy speaks at the beginning of each episode. I've included the full text at the bottom of this entry.

Date: 2008-01-28 09:47 pm (UTC):-D I agree, and yes, lol, David can be very annoying! I loved it when he and Neil were fighting over the moonshine and Christy tells them both to knock it off and Miss Alice says that she has more sense than the two of them put together. ;-P
