ETA: Due to lots of questions of when this production will be airing in the US, I'm posting here what
robertinbc was so kind as to share:
"In January 2008, PBS will be showing The Complete Jane Austen. They will show Mansfield Park, Persuasion and Northanger Abbey which were shown in the U.K. earlier this year. The new Sense and Sensibility will also be shown along with Emma(A&E version) and Pride and Prejudice(BBC version)."

They're making Cranford! With Judi Dench!! *rubs hands togther with glee* Plus a whole bunch of other costume drama veterans. ;-P Greg Wise and Julia Sawalha, too.

I do hope they are re-casting the Bronte film!
