Here is a new batch of art themed icons. I've just "discovered" Thomas Wilmer Dewing, so I kinda went overboard with some of his! ;-P The rest are a few of Rodefer de Camp, Lavery, Garrido, Gerard, and there is one each of Boily, Ingres, and Winterhalter.

Thanks for the suggestion! You'd probably like The Cat of Bubastes by Henty since it's set in ancient Egypt as well. VisionForum.com sells most of his books, if you have an hour to spare drooling over the heirloom editions! ;-) As for keeping up on actors, I have to use IMDb.com. I've yet to discover an internet site for authors, though!

Did I say that? Well, I like rereading special books--books that connect me with friends, or that are my hiding place. :)

Have you read Rifles for Wattie? North and South reminded me of it. It's the best Civil War book I've found.
