Alright, so having missed this when it initially aired, I know I'm late to the party, but OH MY GOODNESS this was so good!!! The ending was really confusing (bad way to wrap up the big huge secret, ppl), but Arthur was such a sweetheart and Amy angelically good--she's definitely up there with the likes of Fanny Price and Book!Margaret Hale.

Gotta love the costumes and hairstyles on the more affluent women! Towering hairdos much? ;P

As always, never alter my graphics, comment, credit, and enjoy!

These are SO BEAUTIFUL! I love your use of color and shading, especially in #13-19 and #41-42. And 59 looks really cool too.

Arthur IS a sweetheart, isn't he? :-) He's always been one of my favorite fictional men.

By the way, if you're interested, I wrote out an explanation of the ending here: http://dickensblog.typepad.com/dickensblog/2009/04/the-clennam-family-secret-faqs.html

I haven't read the book yet but he was really sweet in this!! A little like Roger Hamley in Wives & Daughters, lol, but we forgive them for being a bit BLIND. ;P

Wonderful! I've got it figured out now, but that sure would have been handy at the time!

Oooh it can definitely be confusing at times--you might want to watch it a second time once you know how it ends. You'll see way more "hints" and everything will piece together better, I promise, LOL!

It IS addicting, isn't it? It was so hard to wait a week when it originally aired for my fix!!!

There are way too many beautiful ones here to name individually! The book Little Dorrit is one of my favourite novels (ever), and the mini-series was pretty good too. Of your icons, I especially like #10, the cropping on it is lovely. :)

Aww, thank you!

I really enjoyed the series. I'll read most/all of Dickens eventually. ;)

Have fun! :D Dickens is a good novelist, although to be honest I don't think he's the best social commentator, especially on the Victorian era. But his characters are stories are excellent. =)

Snagging numbers 7 and 53, thanks for sharing! These two icons are so stunning, I actually bought the DVD and watched the mini-series so I could use them (I only use icons that appeal to me personally and for that I need to have watched a series.) :-)
