Miscellany:

• I'm excited about the results of the poll, and also pleased that you all are interested in seeing some of the things I wasn't sure you would be! ;D  It should be really fun to be able to venture into sci-fi, which is a new genre for me.  :D

• Icons are in the pipeline, and I've got a good start on a Downton Abbey batch. Also waiting in the wings are a few other things which I didn't put into the poll... >;)

• Also, I'm sick at the moment, but it's not too bad. Prayerfully it will be better by tomorrow--I have to work!

• Oscar fashions!  Anyone have any favourites?

Natalie looked really good considering she's just had (about to have?) a baby! Reese looked good, too, but quite frankly I'm sick of the green stones in all the jewelry now! Amy Adams looked great but that green did not go with the blue of her gown.

I loved Amy's hair and how the dress was Oscar appropriate. * glares disapprovingly at Gwyn's dress*. You're right though her necklace wasn't a good choice.

There was a few dresses that had me wondering if they thought they were going to the MTV Awards and not the Oscars. Some of the female reporters dressed better than the people nominated!

I loved her gown too!!! A little bit too much of her endowments are on display, but really overall a wonderfully unique choice. Suited her complexion and coloring, too!

I also liked Helen Mirren (she ALWAYS looks fabulous), and Anne Hathaway's arrival gown was classy. Loved her hair, too.

And Nicole Kidman did it right this time!

It's one of the few modern Period Dramas that I like. They actually chose actors that know how to act and it was serious and well done. Unlike Becoming Jane & Pride and Prejudice 2005.
