What book should I read next?

I am almost finished with Hard Times, and I'm not sure what I should start next. What do you all think I should read?

I've never read Lady Susan, since I'd be sad to have no JA left to read, and I would like to read Cranford before the movie comes out and spoils the plot for me. I own a used copy of Villette, but then I've always wanted to read 1776! I really liked the movie of Lorna Doone, so I thought I'd read that, too! So you see my dilemma. ;-P

ETA: Thanks for your votes! I've finished Hard Times and I'll post a review soon, and I've already started reading Lorna Doone. :-D

Hola, ma amica :) I have dropped by to check you are well (and so you seem to be), to thank you for the yellow rose (♥♥♥) and to ask if you have read the fragment Lesley Castle, or The famous A History of England yet? I presume that you have read Love and Freindship... truly though, you cannot be finished with all Austen? Tell me that you are and you will truly have my sympathies!

I am well, thank you. You are very welcome, ;-) and no I have not read Lesley Castle, but I did read most of AHoE before I had to send the book back to the library. I found it most amusing!

Other than her letters, Sanditon, and the Watsons fragment, I have only Lady Susan to read. :-( *sobsobsob*
