"...the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD."

Tomorrow, those of us in America follow the example of our Pilgrim forefathers and celebrate what God has given us. :-)
Happy Thanksgiving to all my readers! ♥

Date: 2010-11-25 10:16 pm (UTC)There are times I think that those in my flist who doesn't like Asian movies/actors/singers... may think how boring my lj has become and how crazy I am... I apologize for that but I can't help it really. Just thought I should say it ;)
Hope you have had a great time!!! ;)

Date: 2010-11-25 10:26 pm (UTC)Don't apologize!! If you're referring to my lj-friends cut a while back--I didn't think you were around anymore since you weren't posting...it really pained me to have to trim my f-list down. :( I'm working full-time now and am lucky if I can post on LJ once a MONTH! (I used to have a once-a-week rule...HAH!)
Now I like some of the Asian stuff I've been exposed to...mostly Korean movies! I love Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War and like Jang Don Gun (is that how you spell it?) and I think I told you that Kim Jong Cook song "You are Lovable" is positively adorable...
How's your family? Baby Ginger is not a baby anymore, probably!

Date: 2010-11-25 10:29 pm (UTC)Jang Dong Gun is simply amazing and so good looking. If I'm not mistaken he will released a movie in US because I've seen the trailer around. Can't remember the name though.
I don't know the song you mention but maybe I give it a try too ;)
baby ginger is four already and his sister two so they aren't babies any more *pout* the grow up too quickly for my taste but I'm enjoying every single bit of the process, believe me! ;)

Date: 2010-11-25 10:38 pm (UTC)He IS amazing!!! I've seen...I want to say 3 of his movies so far? The man can ACT and I can understand why he's quite the hearthrob. ;) Now you've got me excited about that movie--is THIS (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1032751/) it?
Awww so big!! I love it when little kids come in at work--I adore them!! ;)

I'm using a revolutionary icon, since that was one of the first eras during which Thanksgiving was more "officially" celebrated in the US of A ;) (as opposed to more informal fall celebrations in varying colonies)
