olde_fashioned: (Scotland -- take me home)
[personal profile] olde_fashioned
I've rounded up a few icons that I've been making on and off for a while now, all with the theme of Scotland. ;-) Scottish castles, scenery, thistles, and a few Scottish paintings, including the very famous Scotland Forever! by Elizabeth Thompson. I've also included love banners and a wallpaper for those of you who love Scotland as much as I do. :-) I've been really in a Scottish mood due to reading and watching Kidnapped, lol.

As ever, my icons are not bases, please credit/comment if taking, and enjoy!

Please, if you take anything, be so kind as to take note of the numbers above the icon(s) you're saving, since I am always experimenting with my styles and I would like to know what people like best. (This helps me so I can make more!) The numbers are above the icons. ;-)

(Okay, can you tell I really like that painting? lol.) ;-P

You are most welcome! :-) Are you fond of Holyrood, then? :-)

????

Ermm,

I know Shakespeare (quite a bit)...

I know Monty Python (just barely)...

I really like gothic architecture.

(I've just heard the quote somewhere, and decided to transpose a bit.) *shrug*

Umm, okay. "A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse" -- isn't that Shakespeare??

Where did Monty Python come from? Did I inadvertantly quote it, because I've never seen it.

Holyrood is the name of the church that I linked to you....lol!! ;-P

OH! L-O-L, the word "Holyrood" somehow just completely threw me off.

Shakespeare 'tis it then, thusly.

:)

Actually, I think I know nothing about Holyrood itself. As I said, I just like gothic architecture.

Though, if you wish, I would suggest finding pictures of the St. Vitus cathedral in Prague, Czech Republic. I went there once as part of a church mission trip - and wouldn't you know, I didn't have my camera that day. XP The sunlight coming through the high choir windows was glorious!!

LOL!! That's okay. :-) I probably shouldn't have thrown it at you like that, because I myself just recently learned what it was. ;-D

Lucky you to have been in Europe!! I've never been out of the US. :-(
