I just watched this video of Hayley Westenra singing her (fabulous) rendition of Wuthering Heights. I already love the song (which is better than the novel IMO, LOL!), but I'd never seen the music video before tonight. It's pretty neat, and captures the atmosphere perfectly! Plus I want her earrings now, and that gorgeous black lace shawl....;-P

LOL, Hayley is nothing short of amazing IMO. Her voice is incredibly beautiful, strong, yet pure at the same time. Indeed, one of her albums is entitled Pure! That's my favourite one, and it has Wuthering Heights on it. ;-)

If you're interested in exploring her music, I could definitely give you some recommendations! :-)

I'm delighted to have procured another fan for Hayley, LOL! ;-D

My very favourites of hers (I have lots, LOL, so I'll be picky), are Who Painted the Moon Black?, Beat of Your Heart (both from "Pure"), My Heart Belongs To You (from Odyssey), and Tsubasa Wo Kudasai (from Hayley Sings Japanese Songs). The latter of which is a difficult-to-obtain foreign album, and rather expensive to buy, but well worth the money. ;-D

You should hear her sing "Pie Jesu" and "O Mio Babbino Caro" (you can find them on YouTube as well) - they're gorgeous!

I love the song! I have seen the video before and it really captures the sort of dark atmosphere of the story! :D

Ooh, more Hayley fans! Welcome! I introduced my sister to her about three or four years ago. Has anyone heard anything off of her Celtic album? And thanks for the reccommendation for the Japanese album. *scurries off to find it*
