Stock icons: Nature, Autumn, & Winter

I decided to try my hand at making icons from stock photographs. For the most part they are either autumn or winter, but there are some of rain and a few other things as well. ;-)

Thank you! I mostly Googled keywords to get what I was looking for, but a lot of the images ended up coming from ShutterStock. The spiderweb one and a few others came from Trees for Life (http://www.treesforlife.org.uk/forest/photo/rain.html).

I'm sure you could. I'm using GIMP, which is free to download, and most of my resources are in my profile, and they're all free for the taking as well. :-) Tutorials are helpful, too!

Stables, barns, same difference to me. Stables just get to charge more. ;)

It's the smell when you first walk in. If it's in the morning, you've already got that crisp morning smell of dew and grass and thin sunlight. You step into the barn and the first thing to get to you is the wood shavings. Then there's the horse smell, all fresh and warm and just begging you to go snuggle a pony. Then you get just a whiff of the sweet scent of feed and the hearty scent of leather from the tack room. Best smell ever.

LOL, true!! The only stables around here use this treated newspaper shredding stuff, that I'm allergic to and it makes me sneeze. I also suspect I might be allergic to some of the fly repellants. :-( Heaven forbid I should actually be allergic to horses!!
