A rather large batch of icons this time, of the wonderful and beautiful North & South with Daniella Denby-Ashe and Richard Armitage. I've been experimenting with my styles, so please let me know which ones you like. :-) Comment, credit, and enjoy!

Ooo, these are gorgeous! I love the originality! It seems like most people post the same N&S icons over and over again. These are *fresh* though - maybe because you've only just seen the movie :) I'm not sure if I'm taking any yet, but I love 18, 41, 50, 55, 61, and 62 is awesome! These are truly beautiful - can't wait to see more :)

These are gorgeous, I love 88. Can I ask what software you use? How did you put the red shading on 10, 89 and 90? I love making icons but I can't get them to look good.

Thank you! And sure, I used the GIMP on these. The shadings are from a blue glow texture I got from a tutorial which was credited as being made by valliegurl and I colored it red. ;-) I'd be happy to share it with you if you'd like to use it!

Well, a link exchange - your link will go up on our affiliate post here (http://community.livejournal.com/obsessiveicons/104960.html), which is linked on the main page.

Some people (like we do) have a separate entry dedicated to affiliates, and some place affiliate links in the userinfo - that's up to you.

And that's pretty much it! Now when people visit our affiliates page, your username will be in it, and members of obsessiveicons will visit your icon LJ. :)

I was actually thinking of doing a costume-themed icon set sometime on OI; we're pretty flexible about what we make and in terms of who we affiliate with, it's based on skill and aesthetics, not necessarily content. =) The result is icon makers who make all sorts of things.
