Six Boys and Thirteen Hands

I received this in an email from my grandma, who, as some of you might remember, grew up during World War II and was the daughter of a Naval hero. If indeed true then this is one amazing story. If you've already read this it bears rereading, and if you've never heard this before then you're in for a treat, because this is wonderful and very moving. You have to read it all, because the last line is the one that gets you.
