Icons: Christy

We've been Netflixing the new DVDs of the Christy mini-series that aired back in 1994 on CBS, and while I can remember watching it when I was little, I'm really enjoying seeing them all over again. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Christy, it is based on the novel by Catherine Marshall, and it's one of my favourites. Kellie Martin (who plays Christy) is absolutely perfect, and you couldn't have special-ordered a better person to play her.

This batch is principally from the "title credit" sequence where Christy speaks at the beginning of each episode. I've included the full text at the bottom of this entry.

Well, from what I hear, his desktop is a picture of him and me. I haven't ever seen his computer. He doesn't have one at home (and I've never actually see where he lives lives, just been to the lobby area because last time I visited him was in May way before we were dating). But yeah. His co-workers found out about us because he had a picture of the two of us on his desktop.

On my home computer, my desktop is a picture of some sailboats in fog in the Puget Sound. At work my picture is a waterfall at Mount Rainier.

He wasn't 60 when he made the original Indiana Jones movies, silly!

Hey, I'm more of a scenery person than a people person when it comes to photographs and desktops. And also pictures of people are too distracting anyway. :-)

Hmm, if Harrison Ford is 60 then he's . . . okay yeah a bit old for me. But him in his original Indiana Jones movies isn't too old for me. And him as Han Solo isn't too old for me!

Joel is almost 29. :-)
