Hey, I'm working on watching stuff I haven't seen, but first things first (namely costume dramas, LOL!) ;) I think I want to read Dracula first though.

Aww, that's sweet! That makes everything in the Batman movies that much more poignant...especially the "Jim/Jim Jr." stuff like you called it. (I love the "Did Batman save you?" scene!!)

LOL, it's pretty funny when you can say about a stinky movie, "Watch it just to see how fabulous ___ is, even though everyone else sucked!!"

OOoh yes yes yes!!! I LOVE that, in both movies--I was getting all squee-y in the theater for TDK (but also sad) when I realized it was the end, and they were echoing the last scene in BB. >;) With a set-up like that, they HAVE to top it off and finish it in TDKR.

And speeaking of TDKR...Obviously speculations abound and there's no way anyone can know, but do you have any predictions in the Gordon arena as to what the 3rd movie might contain? I'm predicting some Batman/Gordon tension/hostility, because of the vaguest hints of it in TDK (i.e., when Gordon aims his gun at Batman). Also, too, in order for Batman to be cleared (which *has* to happen), that will most likely mean Gordon is implicated in some sort of cover-up/conspiracy...which might breed just a tad of resentment in Gordon towards Batman for having the idea in the first place. Gordon's a lot more pragmatic than Batman is, in the sense that he's willing to "fudge" the means as a way to the end.

Any thoughts? ;)

ETA: And I just ran to IMDb to check up on Gary Oldman's upcoming projects, and the Red Riding Hood one has Michael Hogan in it, from Battlestar Galactica--forgive me while I go squee in my nerdy corner!!!!!!!
